About

Margo is an actor living in Chicago. She has worked with Theater Wit, About Face Theatre, and Collaboraction, among many others, and looks forward to her first collaboration with Northlight coming up this spring.

Though her training in acting began long before she was a "cherub" at Northwestern's National High School Institute, Margo graduated summa cum laude from Case Western Reserve University with degrees in Theatre Arts and English.  While in Cleveland, she worked with Cleveland Public Theatre, the Cleveland Shakespeare Festival, and originated the role of Alex in A Girl's Guide to Coffee from Eric Coble's "Alexandra Trilogy" (which also includes the Broadway produced The Velocity of Autumn) at Actors' Summit in Akron.

Margo's passion for language and classical fury has led her to study acting Shakespeare extensively at such institutions as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, and at the Riverside Shakespeare Festival in Iowa City, where she also performed on their mainstage.

When not acting, Margo educates the youth, writes prose and poetry, and narrates audiobooks, where she can indulge in her interests in dialect acquisition and character voice creation to her heart's desire.
